Hindi Version Vinnaithandi Varuvaya Has Been Dropped

It was decided to remake the Tamil film Vinnaithandi Varuvaya directed by Gowtham Menon in Hindi. Gowtham also started to direct this film. But from the moment the shooting was started, problems also started. The heroine Trisha walked out of this film. There was also news that the hero Pratik Babbar has also walked away from this project. Since Trisha walked out, Emmy Jackson who had acted in Madrasapattinam was signed to do the female lead role. But since she not able to follow the Indian traditions and customs, she has left for London.

When asked Gowtham Menon about this,” There is news that the Hindi Vinnaithandi Varuvaya has been dropped. Currently the hero Pratik Babbar is busy with the promo work of the Hindi film Dhobi Ghat produced by Amir Khan and directed by Kiran Rao. This film is being released in the month of January. After completing this work, he will be acting in my film. Emmy Jackson came from London and stayed here for a month. She was taught Hindi in Mumbai. After learning she left for London. She will be back when the shooting commences.”
