Sonakshi, Salman Another Record

Superstar Salman Khan and his co-star in ’Dabangg’ Sonakshi Sinha have been awarded with another title – the most searched Indian celebrities on the web in a new survey by a movie portal.

Salman beat action stars Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn in the survey carried across the metros as well as tier-II and tier-III cities. Ranbir Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor wrapped up the top five.

She might be one-film old, but Sonakshi came ahead of the likes of Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif to be the most searched celebrity on the internet among the female brigade.

Priyanka came second and Sonam Kapoor followed at the third slot. Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif landed at the fourth and fifth spots in the survey.

After her super successful debut, Sonakshi will now be seen with Akshay in Shirish Kunder ’Joker’ and in ’Dabangg 2’. (IANS)
