Michael Velayudham is a chef who loves life and women. Meera is a fun loving open minded girl. Both of them meet in Cape Town, South Africa, start dating and eventually fall in love. But fate has another plan for them. Meera career takes her back to india which causes the couple to break up because long distance relationships don’t work.
Senapati, a local restaurateur, who has witnessed their relationship, refuses to let Michael give up on Meera. He tells Michael the story of his friend Arjun Palwai, who did everything in his power to win the one true love of his life, Vasumathi.
The story continues as it shows the parallels and differences in the two love stories, set in different times and places, and how despite the many obstacles it faces, love always prevails.
