Abhishek Turns Singer

After making people groove to Right Here Right Now from ’Bluffmaster’, Abhishek Bachchan has once again decided to go behind the mike, this time for Rohan Sippy ’Dum Maaro Dum’.

The actor has sung a hip-hop song ’Thayn Thayn’, composed by Pritam Chakroborty. The lyrics of the song talk about dealing with corruption and changing society for the better.

"Abhishek is very excited about the song and got involved in the creative aspects of it as well. It revolves around his character in the film ACP Kamat. Both Rohan and Abhishek have a keen ear for music and decided to go with a groovy hip-hop song that keeps to the theme of the film," said a source.

The film which also stars Bipasha Basu, Prateik Babbar and Rana Daggubati, is currently facing a law and order situation. The Panaji bench of the Bombay High Court Thursday issued notices to the director and producers of ’Dum Maaro Dum’ and other officials, over a petition seeking a ban on the film scheduled to be released April 22.

The movie revolves around the lives of six people who meet in Goa and how their lives change once they are draggled into the drug mafia world. "The movie is against public order, decency and morality and there is clear violation of the fundamental rights guaranteed under the Constitution of India to the people of Goa," petitioner Savio Rodrigues said in his plea.(IANS)
